Job Summary:

The Automotive Detailer will assist the Universal Collision Center Inc. team to wash and clean vehicles for our valued customers, and provide service to our Sales, Service, and Body Shop departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate pressure washers, vacuums, and other detailing equipment to clean automobiles in a safe and efficient manner, meeting dealership expectations.
  • Vacuum all interior surfaces, spot-clean textile stains, and clean solid surfaces to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Perform minor body repair of scratches and blemishes using buffers and/or wet sanders to restore vehicles to their original condition.
  • Ensure the detail area is clean and organized, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Attend periodic production meetings as needed or directed by managers to stay informed and aligned with team goals.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to operate an automobile with a clean driving record.
  • Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is an asset, but not required.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional experiences for our valued customers.
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs, with physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, with strong problem-solving abilities to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
