Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Manitoba.
  • Recent experience in a long-term care or acute care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Licensed Practical Nurses Act and the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice.
