Our Housing Support Worker plays a vital role in this mission by providing participant-centered supports to individuals under the direction of the Housing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop case plans to address the needs of participants
  • Secure resources for participants and provide support with transitions
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with external program partners, including Department of Community Services workers, Property Managers, and healthcare providers
  • Assist with reports to funders, including Affordable Housing Association of NS and Department of Municipal Affairs and Housing
  • Ensure high-quality direct service for program participants and contribute to the administration of program evaluation
