Job Opportunity at Siemens Transportation Group Inc.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1A Peddle Line Driver to join our team at Quill Transport Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pickup and deliver freight in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks and pre-trip/post-trip inspections
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Load and unload freight in a courteous, efficient, and safe manner
  • Handle freight and freight documents
  • Adhere to all safety and traffic laws
  • Perform all other duties as requested

Requirements
  • Class 1A License
  • Good customer service skills and a customer-oriented attitude
  • Thorough knowledge of equipment usage and repair
  • Experience in loading and unloading
  • Working knowledge of heated and refrigeration operation
  • Knowledge of provincial weight and dimension regulations
  • Knowledge of city routes and country routes
