Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator

Compensation: $25-30/hour

This Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator role is a part-time position (with the possibility of full-time in the near future) located in North Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience handling product returns, inspections, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Return Processing: Assess the condition of returned products, sort items, and determine the best course of action (e.g., resale, repair, or disposal). Utilize inventory management systems to identify discrepancies.
  • Inspection and Refurbishment: Evaluate and refurbish products for resale or reuse.
  • Procurement: Forecast demand to ensure adequate supply and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate transportation and storage of goods for timely delivery.

Qualifications:

  • STEM Degree Advantage: A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is highly valued due to its alignment with our innovative and analytical work environment.
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Experience working with inventory management systems, particularly with macros.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose technical issues with returned items and propose solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous inspection of returned items for defects, damages, or discrepancies, as well as attention to report preparation.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficiency in maintaining a well-organized workspace and meeting deadlines.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of computer hardware.
