Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at UPLIFT MOVING. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for monitoring the movement of supplies and materials between departments, coordinating traffic flow, and scheduling assignments for vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate the movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Coordinate traffic flow and schedule assignments for vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
  • Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training
  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster
  • Provide mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
