We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Hand to join our team at Comairco Equipment Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Training: Identify training needs for technicians and work with the Service Supervisor to deploy training programs.
  • Safety Program: Identify safety training needs and expand on our current safety program.
  • Team Environment: Foster a positive team environment among all individuals and departments.
  • Technical Issues: Deploy to sites requiring advanced knowledge, follow up on technical issues, and provide support as needed.
  • Rework Assessment: Track and train on rework, ensuring value is obtained and lessons are shared with the team.
  • Service Meeting: Lead meeting agenda, sharing best practices, lessons learned, and reviewing rework issues.
  • Major Accounts Maintenance: Work with the Aftermarket Manager to ensure expectations are met on major accounts.
  • Support Service Supervisor: Provide technical support, handle warranty claims, and manage technician performance.
  • Technician Management: Manage the team, handle disciplinary actions, and implement a reward program.
  • Grow the Branch: Ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth to meet market needs.
  • Promote Comairco Sales: Promote the team of technicians and their abilities, ensuring tools and company vehicles are properly maintained.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer service calls requiring advanced expertise.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a management role.
  • Experience with compressed air and ancillary equipment or similar mechanical background.
  • High skills and passion to train, coach, and develop technicians.
  • Autonomy, creativity, teamwork, and professional integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
