About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at NORTHCON CORP. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, cutting and fitting them to meet specific requirements, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Filling joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Taping over joints using a taping machine and embedding tape in compound
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
