About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Climate Strategy Lead to join our Climate Strategy team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of sectoral climate strategies that support our bank's climate ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sectoral climate strategies that align with our bank's climate goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of climate-related policies and procedures.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for emissions reduction and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise on climate-related issues and develop recommendations for our bank's climate strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, such as sustainability, environmental strategy, or climate change.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful climate-related strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
