Bennett Jones is a leading business law firm with a strong presence in Canada and New York. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Montreal office as a Coordinator, Talent & Operations.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director, Talent & Operations, including managing administrative tasks, coordinating projects, and ensuring smooth operations within the office. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Director, Talent & Operations
  • Organizing and scheduling recruitment events and campus visits
  • Ensuring timely posting of recruitment-related communications on the firm's website and social media platforms
  • Handling the logistics of the recruitment process, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring lawyers and committees
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new talent, including orientation, training, and integration into the firm
  • Assisting with various projects and initiatives related to student recruitment, lawyer development, and office operations
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all recruitment activities, as well as firm events and initiatives
  • Tracking departmental expenses to ensure alignment with the budget and reconciling the firm's Visa transactions
  • Assisting with various filings required by the Quebec Bar
  • Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Director

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both in French and English, and superior client relation skills with a keen sense of professionalism. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role, preferably in a corporate or legal environment, is required. Proficient computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word, intranet, and legal-based software programs, are also essential. Self-motivation, high organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment are highly valued.
