North York General Hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our dynamic team in Histopathology. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and precision. You will also participate in quality control and quality improvement programs, identify problems, and take appropriate corrective action. Additionally, you will use our Laboratory Information System (LIS) to record and report information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized lab procedures
  • Participate in quality control and quality improvement programs
  • Identify problems and take appropriate corrective action
  • Use LIS to record and report information

Requirements

  • CMLTO registered
  • CSMLS certified
  • Experience with immunohistochemistry and FISH is an asset
  • Experience in histology lab at Hospital setting an asset
  • Bilingualism in French/English an asset
