About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Specialist to join our Estate Settlement Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers who are going through a difficult time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level customer service and support to customers who are dealing with bereavement and deceased estate matters.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues and external customers to resolve complex banking enquiries and complaints.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide solutions to customers in a timely and effective manner.
  • Triage and escalate enquiries for immediate action based on customer need and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with cross-business unit colleagues to support the achievement of broader team goals and objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience working with vulnerable individuals and have a strong ability to empathize with customers who are dealing with difficult situations. You will also possess sound judgement skills and be able to make occasional bespoke decisions that best suit the situation.
