Job Title: Dispatcher, Trucks

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team at ARJ TRANSPORT LTD. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch Personnel: Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Process and Transmit Information: Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses, and transmit information to coordinate activities.
  • Schedule Assignments: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to meet customer demands.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the field of employment is an asset.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in dispatch management service software, mapping and data visualization software, monitoring and tracking software, and word processing software.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, reliable, and a team player.
