Production Supervisor

CMC Electronics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in the assembly of complex printed circuits boards for avionics products. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in meeting delivery goals while ensuring a high level of engagement and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and analyze monthly work and equipment maintenance to meet delivery goals and report progress to the Manufacturing Manager and Program Manager.
- Align the team to achieve departmental performance indicators such as reducing costs of poor quality (COPQ) and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain a work environment that is engaging, healthy, and safe for the team.
- Recruit, train, develop, and manage the team.
- Resolve production problems quickly and inform customer groups of the impact on delivery times.
- Support production process improvement initiatives and carry out continuous improvement projects within the department.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Administration, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising or coordinating a manufacturing team.
- Fluent in French and good ability of written and oral communication in English.
- Good knowledge of Production Resource Planning (MRP).
- Experience in a unionized environment and with ISO manufacturing processes.
