Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at RBS Sons Truck and Trailers Works Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including automotive and truck-trailer systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical units and components.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial transport truck systems and components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
