Job Title: Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Sirat Truck Repair Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect motor in operation
  • Review work orders and estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service and test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on the road and in a variety of weather conditions
