Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Chef in preparing and executing menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Preparation: Prepare and fill stations with all necessary products, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare food for service, including cutting vegetables, carving meat, and preparing sauces, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to cook elements of dishes, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional quality.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Follow the instructions of the Chef or Sous Chef, providing guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and professional approach with colleagues and clients.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of different cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to work under pressure, lead by example, and provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Education: Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience.
