We are seeking an experienced IT Solution Architect to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate solution definition and implementation across the organization.
  • Participate in product selection and evaluation to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain architecture standards and patterns to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze the current-state solution portfolio to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio to ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Consult with development projects to ensure alignment with architecture and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders to review solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Participate in the development of roadmaps and strategies to drive business growth.
  • Define and document application architectures to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Act as a technical mentor to development teams to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Document all solution architecture design and analysis work to ensure knowledge retention.
  • Assist in the development of business vision and communicate to stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.

Requirements

  • University degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in architecture, including microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, and data architecture.
  • Experience with modeling languages and techniques, such as TOGAF.
  • Strong technical background, including platforms, languages, protocols, frameworks, and open-source technologies.
  • Experience with architecture frameworks and certifications a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and understanding of the impacts on business.
  • Comfortable working in a constantly evolving technological environment.
