Job Title: Coop/Intern, Assurance

BDO Canada is a leading professional services firm that provides audit, tax, and advisory services to clients across various industries. We are currently seeking a Co-op or Intern Student to join our Assurance team in Fort Frances, Ontario.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our Assurance team with various tasks and projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting, auditing, and financial analysis, while working closely with our experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and completion of working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements
  • Conduct research and gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
  • Participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace
  • Contribute to the success of students pursuing their CPA designation through our pre-approved programs, mentorship, and support

Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program
  • Strong academic record and excellent communication skills
