Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team at Archway Community Services. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup.
Your Role:
The successful candidate will support the Warehouse Coordinator in a variety of tasks, including:
- Sorting donations and leading groups of volunteers to ensure efficient and accurate processing.
- Stocking shelves and organizing deliveries to maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
- Receiving orders and building pallets for distribution to our Food Bank programs.
- Assisting in major food drives and supporting internal programs that require food donations.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with community partners and volunteers.
- A valid Class 5 BC Driver's License is an asset.
- A Forklift Operating Certificate is an asset; a willingness to be trained is required.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift and/or carry items up to 50lbs/22 kgs and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
