Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Partner to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our commercial analytics team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic insights and recommendations to support the growth of our pharmaceutical business in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate and timely forecasting models to support business decisions.
  • Sales and Data Reporting: Design and implement data reporting solutions to provide key performance indicators and support executive leadership decision-making.
  • Commercial Analytics and Strategic Insights: Provide strategic advice to the business on critical business assumptions, strategy, positioning, and market definition.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree in Business or Science.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years' experience in forecasting, marketing research, sales/marketing analysis, sales, marketing, finance, or other analytical function preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skills: Proficient understanding of current and future pharmaceutical market drivers, competitive environment, and treatment algorithms across a range of disease areas.
  • Language: Bilingual in French and English (written/spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Advanced University degrees (Preferred Master or PH.D level Degree like MBA, PH.D., M. Biotech, etc.).
  • Industry Knowledge: Advanced understanding of Pharma product strategies and organizational dynamics.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated strong ability to work effectively independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
