Position Summary

Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions? Do you have a knack for analyzing complex data sets and identifying trends? We're seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Ornge, where you'll play a key role in supporting our Decision Support Business Intelligence vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain analytical tools, including Power BI reports, simulations, and predictive models, to advance Decision Support's mandate to enable more informed decisions and elicit improvements in quality and performance.
  • Support the deployment and evolution of Ornge's Business Intelligence platform, working closely with internal stakeholders to provide integrated analysis and insights on program performance.
  • Forecast, track, and measure key business metrics to support data-driven decisions, analyzing trends, variances, and areas for improvement to meet operational targets.
  • Engage stakeholders in the use of the Business Intelligence platform, providing insights on patient experience results and supporting evidence-informed decisions through a range of analytics.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline (graduate degree preferred).
  • 3 years' experience in Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL, including SSRS.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative and statistical analysis, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet conflicting deadlines.
