Clinical Educator

Role Summary
The Clinical Educator provides critical expertise to support the comprehensive needs of patients within the Regional Renal Kidney Care Program. This role focuses on promoting safe, quality care through education, orientation, and competency-based skill development for clinical and support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with interprofessional program teams to implement evidence-based practices and achieve clinical program objectives.
- Model clinical excellence and core competencies while advancing practice through learning and development.
- Develop and deliver exceptional learning experiences for new hire onboarding and continuing education to maintain/advance practice.
- Provide subject matter expertise to the development of controlled documents, including policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Facilitate skill development, practice growth opportunities, and a positive learning environment for the interprofessional team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A graduate degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field is preferred. The candidate must be a member in good standing of the College of Nurses of Ontario and have relevant certifications and continuing education.
