Head Chef for a Fast-Paced Kitchen

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team at East Side Mario's Camrose. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of meals for our customers.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you should have at least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. A degree is not required, but we do need someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to our menu requirements.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
- Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Mental Demands: You should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a demanding kitchen environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral communication skills are essential for effective team collaboration and customer service.
- Dependability: We rely on our team members to be reliable, organized, and flexible in their work schedule.
The estimated salary range for this role is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and industry standards. This includes comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
