Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AI Technology Lead to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to deliver secure and stable AI solutions across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Enterprise Frameworks: Develop and implement strategic enterprise frameworks to enable the secure and stable delivery of AI across the enterprise.
  • Knowledge Management: Deliver on knowledge management programs, including our Contact Centre, Retail, and Corporate Segments.
  • IAP Program: Deliver on IAP programs for our contact centers, providing cognitive AI for all lines of business.
  • Business Planning: Participate in business planning discussions and define the technology delivery approach for our data scientist partners.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to minimize negative cost impacts and reduce delivery/operational costs of technology, retiring existing predictive AI solutions and pitching for the adoption of new/improved solutions across the enterprise.
  • Technology Roadmap: Drive technology target state to move away from current bespoke tooling to our new AI platform and create roadmap-based technology investments.
  • Vendor Selection: Perform POCs to validate approach and vendor selection.
  • Talent Acquisition: Identify and hire engineering/technology talent required for the delivery team to enable ongoing value delivery.
  • Technology Risk & Control: Implement Technology Risk & Control defined standards and strategies for the Technology Solutions being delivered.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years' experience in technology and strategy-focused roles.
  • Strategic Thinking: Previous experience developing and executing strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to senior executives.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of how P&T works in the context of the broader organization.
  • Leadership Skills: Highly effective communicator who engages colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employees.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent presentation, facilitation, interpersonal, and leadership skills to facilitate working with senior management at all levels.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated relationship building skills, with a superior ability to make things happen using positive influence.
  • Organizational Skills: Robust organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically.
