Job Opportunity:

The City of St. Albert is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Manager, Asset Management, Land, and Integrated Infrastructure Services. This position plays a critical role in supporting the City's corporate financial planning by identifying new growth opportunities and upgrades to existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate and implement all infrastructure-related strategic and engineering business plans to ensure the long-term sustainable growth of the City of St. Albert.
  • Oversee the corporate municipal infrastructure asset management portfolio, including land assets.
  • Coordinate with department heads, private developers, consultants, contractors, external agencies, and utility providers to ensure the development of municipal infrastructure aligns with growth objectives.
  • Lead the evaluation of all infrastructure opportunities supporting the City of St. Albert's council-directed growth initiatives.
  • Provide strategic insights and implementation strategies for the sustainable management of the City's existing infrastructure assets.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) with at least eight (8) years of combined experience in management, municipal growth and development, and extensive experience in integrated municipal infrastructure management and implementation.
  • P.Eng. designation or eligibility to register with APEGA is required.
  • Excellent computer proficiency in terms of the Microsoft Office suite, project management software, ArcGIS, and knowledge of CMMS software.
  • A valid Class 5 Drivers License and a personal vehicle for work use is required.

  • A competitive salary range of $118,618 - $143,918 per annum.

  • A compressed bi-weekly work schedule of 72 hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 – 5:00, with a biweekly regular day off (RDO).
