We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse - Rural General, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver client-centered care and promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines to inform clinical decision-making.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area, such as Emergency or Perinatal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a high level of productivity in a dynamic setting.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, with the ability to lift, push, and pull equipment as needed.
