Electrical Engineering Technician

About the Role:
You'll be part of our team specializing in electrical apparatus installation, working with experts to develop technical skills in designing electrical rooms, cable racks, and substations for industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in engineering and project conceptual studies.
- Contribute to computer-assisted design of 2D and 3D plans and drafting specifications and details based on guidelines from senior engineers or technicians.
- Perform design calculations and prepare material lists and bills of materials according to codes, standards, drawings, and other established methods.
- Conduct technical information surveys and monitor contractors on site.
- Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting systems.
Requirements:
- Diploma of college studies (DCS) in Building Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture, or a diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in Building Design.
- Excellent knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
- Bilingual (English and French) is an asset.
- Knowledge of the SmartPlant application is also an asset.
