B.C. Cafe Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong attention to detail.
