About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Smith + Andersen. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
  • Manage and coordinate electrical design, procurement, and installation activities
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in the healthcare sector
  • Registered Engineer in the province of Nova Scotia or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with project management software and tools, including MS Project and Autodesk
  • LEED certification or experience with sustainable design principles is an asset
