Key Responsibilities
  • Broadcast and selective treatment of fast-growing tree species within powerline ROWs
  • Participate in Spectrum's safety system, attend tailgate meetings, and complete required training
  • Maintain and respect equipment
  • Follow supervisor direction
  • Space off flagged boundaries and riparian areas
  • Wait for ideal weather conditions
  • Work in assigned areas over a large geographic region, with frequent travel expected
Requirements
  • Physical ability to perform in a demanding environment
  • Ability to carry 50+ pounds on your back
  • Repeated use of pumping arm and swing of spray arm
  • Ability to walk rapidly over debris on uneven terrain
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions
  • Decision-making skills
  • Willingness to work, enjoy, and live in a remote setting
  • Preparation for work in all weather conditions
