Director of Semiconductor Production Operations

VueReal is seeking an experienced Director of Semiconductor Production Operations to oversee the high-volume manufacturing of MicroLED displays.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of semiconductor production that support MicroLED displays, including wafer fabrication and processing, display assembly, and packaging.
- Ensure that production meets or exceeds quality, yield, cost, and delivery targets.
- Develop and implement strategies for scaling production to meet market demands.
- Oversee production scheduling and resource allocation to optimize throughput and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Collaborate with process engineering teams to implement advanced manufacturing techniques, automation, and process controls.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in production processes and equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and utilization.
- Ensure that production processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement robust quality control measures to maintain high yields, reduce defect rates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, including production supervisors and technicians.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement within the production organization.
- Set clear performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and professional development for team members.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field is required.
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing production in a high-tech environment.
- Extensive experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. Proven track record of scaling production lines and improving operational efficiency, quality, and yield in semiconductor production.
