We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team at Peerless Talent. As a fast-growing renovations startup, we provide basement finishing solutions throughout GTA and are looking for a detail-oriented professional to help us deliver exceptional results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical design, with experience in designing basements or main floor layouts. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketchup is a must. A project portfolio showcasing your work is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and outline client design objectives
  • Conduct site visits for measurements
  • Conceptualize and sketch design plans
  • Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase
  • Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project
  • Source materials and products included in plans
  • Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision
  • Utilize computer applications in the design process
  • Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met
  • Coordinate trades at site work
  • Assorted administrative duties including answering incoming calls

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience in technical design of basements or main floor layouts
  • Experience in a renovation company or similar environment ideal
  • Proficient technical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup or similar software
  • Project Portfolio (preferred)

Location: Onsite with clients & in Office (Concord ON)
