• At Grove Memorial Community Hospital, we understand the challenges new nurses face when transitioning into practice. Our Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) program is designed to provide a supportive environment for new Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses to succeed.

• This program is funded by the ministry and aims to improve the transition of new nurses into practice and full-time employment. We currently have opportunities available at our hospitals.

• Eligible nurses must register as a Nursing User, apply to posted positions on the NGG portal, and commit to accepting full-time employment or the equivalent of full-time hours with their NGG employer after completing the NGG program transition into practice period.

• The NGG program at our hospitals consists of a competency-based learning pathway, preceptored shifts, and regular check-ins with a Nurse Educator.

• We value diversity and encourage applications from Canadian-educated nurses and Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) who have graduated with a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a diploma from a practical nursing program in Canada, and have registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
