Job Summary:

As a 310T Mechanic with First Student Canada, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled mechanic to join our team and contribute to the safe transportation of students and passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and perform repairs on vehicle and equipment under minimal supervision.
  • Lead preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used.
  • Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken.
  • Adhere to First Student standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Valid 310T Mechanic license.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Appropriate mechanic's tool set.
  • Advanced problem-solving ability.
  • Advanced computer skills.
