We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician to join our team in Ontario, Canada.

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing heavy maintenance on narrow body aircraft, including assembling, riveting, drilling, and bonding body, structure, or components according to specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit aircraft and structural parts;
  • Cure bonded structures, using portable or stationary curing equipment;
  • Communicate with other workers to fit and align heavy parts or expedite processing of repair parts;
  • Clean, strip, prime, and sand structural surfaces and materials prior to bonding;
  • Fabricate parts using metal fabricating machines, saws, brakes, shears, and grinders;
  • Perform a subassembly;
  • Align, fit, assemble, connect, or install system components, using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, or power tools;
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds;
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write the English Language at a B2 level minimum;
  • Must be able to work overtime, any shift, and weekends as required;
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background, drug, and medical screening, subject to TCCA requirements and random substance abuse screening;
  • Must have requisite basic tools prior to starting to work; tool list will be provided. Tools must be shadowed and engraved;
  • Must have a technical college degree in aerospace or equivalent;
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an MRO.
