Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care to join our team at the Fort St. John Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments, plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to patients in accordance with established vision and values of the organization.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care in the Surgical Services and Chronic Disease Programs.
• Operate within the scope of practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and organizational policies, procedures, standards, and unit-specific protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Current full practicing licensure with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Certification as required by the employer.
