Job Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse Specialist in Addiction for a temporary replacement position at the Herz Clinic.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assess the physical and mental health of users with complex health issues and varied biopsychosocial dimensions.
  • Evaluate consumption profiles and levels.
  • Apply care and treatment protocols based on best practices to stabilize substance use disorders and related health issues.
  • Identify risk factors and intervene with harm reduction strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for users.
  • Provide user education and support for self-management.
  • Coordinate interventions across facilities and community organizations.
  • Act as a clinical resource for the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Valid nursing license issued by the Quebec Order of Nurses.
  • Excellent spoken and written French skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with users with substance use and/or mental health disorders.
