Job Summary

Groupe Brunet is seeking an experienced Industrial and Manufacturing Engineer to join our NEXT Polymers division. As an Industrial and Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Plant Engineering and Management to optimize machinery and equipment, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement production reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external claims, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Lead initiatives to improve production quality, reducing defects and waste.
  • Conduct factory audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Participate in production trials to test new processes and equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production efficiency, implementing changes to reduce costs and increase productivity.
  • Research and recommend modernization and improvement of existing equipment and processes.
  • Develop and implement root cause corrective action procedures for production troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop standard startup processing conditions for each pipe size.
  • Develop and implement procedures for extrusion tooling routing and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc.).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical and visual abilities to work on the shop floor for extended periods.
  • Above-average math skills and computer literacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7h00 to 15h30.
  • Occasional work in a dusty environment (dryblend compound).
