Job Title: Regional Business Manager, Orthopaedics

ConMed is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Manager to lead our Orthopaedics team in Western Canada. As a key member of our Extended Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, strategy, and customer engagement in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive market share growth in Western Canada.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships with the Director of Sales and Orthopaedic marketing team to execute programs and drive sales.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with national marketing plans.
  • Coach and develop sales talent to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, ensuring open communication and feedback.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Finance to create annual territory quotas and forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with SSOs, GPOs, and surgeon KOLs.
  • Support the regional sales team with key account management, proposal, and contract negotiations.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in orthopaedic medical devices sales and/or marketing.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional internal and external relationships.
  • Experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Strong selling skills in hospital and clinical environments.
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed.
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite of products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong English communication, written and verbal.
  • Strong French communication, written and verbal is an asset (Quebec Only).
