Job Title: Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Elite Sofa Designs. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth production flow
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on production progress and any issues that may arise
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in good working order and that maintenance and repair work is carried out as needed
  • Recruit and train staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to help them improve their performance
  • Co-ordinate and assign work to staff to ensure that deadlines are met and that production targets are achieved
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that all materials and supplies are available when needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of production processes and procedures
Work Environment:

Our production facility is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and equipment.
