Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Elite Sofa Designs. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth production flow
- Prepare and submit reports to management on production progress and any issues that may arise
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are in good working order and that maintenance and repair work is carried out as needed
- Recruit and train staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to help them improve their performance
- Co-ordinate and review work to ensure that it is completed on time and to the required standard
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that all materials and supplies are available when needed
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently
- 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures
