Crisis Response Coordinator

The Shared Health organization is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Clinician to join our team. As a Crisis Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing clinical services to individuals in mental health or psychosocial crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in mental health or psychosocial crisis
- Collaborate with the Crisis Response Centre Clinical Team to develop and implement crisis response plans
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other clinicians to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and organizations to ensure seamless service delivery
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in crisis intervention and mental health care
- Four years of related community experience
- BN or RPN required
- Knowledge of Crisis Intervention Theory
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
- Suicide Assessment and Intervention Training
- Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM)
- Valid driver's license and vehicle (preferred)
- Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
- Effective Crisis Intervention Skills
- Expertise in the area of mental health
- Knowledge and understanding of psychosocial rehab and recovery
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective networking and agency relations skills
