Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Quebec City. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work on varied and stimulating building mechanics projects, collaborating with a high-performance team to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities- Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for factories and laboratories.
- Design factory utility systems, including steam, hydronic networks, compressed air, and clean gas.
- Prepare technical specifications and studies, including principle studies, feasibility studies, and preliminary design.
- Conduct surveys of existing installations, improve existing systems, and develop new solutions.
- Evaluate building mechanics construction cost budgets.
- Participate in site monitoring and services during construction.
- Carry out energy optimization studies.
- Manage projects and develop contact with customers to understand their needs.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
- 2 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in consulting engineering and/or in a factory in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food fields is an asset.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and specialized software, e.g., AutoCAD, Revit.
