About the Role

Esri is seeking a skilled Product Engineering Writer II to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our product engineering writing team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality reference help documentation, blog articles, videos, guides, and tutorials about ArcGIS Online, our premier cloud GIS system.

Responsibilities
  • Write documentation in the ArcGIS help system about ArcGIS Online
  • Create engaging content for GIS practitioners that provides guidance, best practices, and applied workflows for web mapping, analysis, geospatial data, and more
  • Collaborate with development, product marketing, product management, documentation, sales, and other teams to provide learning resources about ArcGIS Online
  • Contribute to additional writing projects, such as creating resources about metadata and editing the Esri GIS Dictionary
Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional writing experience related to ArcGIS Online or web GIS
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, compelling content
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an agile environment
