Job Overview:

The Industrial Maintenance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless production operations by implementing a preventative maintenance schedule and collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues efficiently. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Preventative Maintenance Standards: Create and implement a preventative maintenance plan for all mechanical and electrical systems, including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration.
  • Analyze and Troubleshoot Equipment Issues: Utilize data from machine error messages, operators, and test results to diagnose equipment problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Repair and Maintain Production Equipment: Perform repairs, testing, and inspections on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Lead by Example and Train Others: Provide demonstrations and training on production equipment, emphasizing safety, control, and operating features, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Coordinate Work Orders and Ensure Cost-Effectiveness: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize work orders, meet productivity standards, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Communicate Safety Concerns and Support Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify potential mechanical hazards and report them to supervisors and operators, and contribute to ongoing efforts to improve processes and achieve best practices.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related trade certification/license; 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automation/manufacturing/industrial maintenance, and 1-2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent English language skills (oral and written), strong interpersonal skills, and ability to lead by example, encourage teamwork, and influence change.
  • Computer Literacy and Preventative Maintenance Software Experience: Proficiency in MS Office and other applications, and experience with preventative maintenance software.

Compensation Package:

$90,000 - $95,000 annual salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
