Concrete Production Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Concrete Production Worker to join our team at Heidelberg Materials. As a Concrete Production Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and productive work environment by supporting plant needs and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mobile equipment on plant property, including loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and man-lifts.
- Maintain the cleanliness of plant work areas and assist with plant tasks, including lubrication, maintenance, and repairs.
- Assist in the production of concrete, including value-added products and temperature control of products.
- Transport materials to and from storage and shop areas.
- Be a part of the Plant Chipping Team and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in an open pit mine is an asset.
- Experience using or ability to learn plant mobile equipment.
- Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team.
- Ability to work safely and independently without constant supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of learning through on-the-job training.
- Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions.
- In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on varied terrain.
- Ability to work different extended hours, holidays, and/or overtime required.
