Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at It's All Greek To Me. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our dishes are washed and sanitized, and supporting our food preparation and service teams.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Load and unload dishwashers, buspans, and trays
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Store dishes and other items in designated areas
  • Assist with food preparation and portioning
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
