About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer with experience in Spark and Kafka to join our team at Synechron. As a key member of our Agile Scrum team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions using Java 11, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow industry best practices through the whole development process: code reviews, unit testing, static code analysis, and design diagrams to document architectural and implementation decisions.
  • Redesign and upgrade legacy systems to support business objectives, while taking advantage of opportunities to move to newer tech stacks.
  • Work in an Agile Scrum team including stakeholders, product owners, dev teams, and QA to deliver quality products.

Requirements:

  • Senior Java resource with 8+ years of experience.
  • Resource with Java 11 version, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Microservices, basics around SQL, Database (No SQL preferred), Message platform (like Kafka / JMS / MQ equivalent) experience.
  • Core Java expertise.
  • Having database (Basic understanding + SQL).
  • Having knowledge in Spark / Kafka / Micro Services / Spring Boot.
  • Having excellent communication skills.
