Job Title: Testing Analyst

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Testing Analyst to join our team. As a Testing Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze project requirements to understand the testing effort and estimate time, resources, and budget required.
  • Define the testing strategy and work experience with software quality control concepts and practices.
  • Create, update, and review test documentation, and knowledgeable of defect resolution processes and practices.
  • Work experience with test case management, requirements, and defect tracking tools, and strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot skills on windows OS, mobile, web, and client/server applications, and experience with backend and API testing and related test tools.
  • Maintain and support Test Tools (i.e. TestRail) in large Enterprise and/or Healthcare environments, and able to communicate effectively and build relationships with developers, business analysts, change management, communications, training, and project managers.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently, and excellent initiative, team building, and collaboration skills.
  • Analyze problems and strategize for better solutions, and ability to take ownership and independently drive progress.
  • Adapt evolving technology requirements as they are introduced during the project, and apply these into a clinical context to meet user requirements.
  • Identify outcomes/results to bolster communicative/education efforts, and critical thinking skills and strong process orientation.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience with BC Health Authorities.
  • Testing of Microsoft products (TEAMS, Exchange, SharePoint etc.) on different modalities (desktop, mobile).
  • Working knowledge of hospital/clinical systems, care delivery processes, clinical roles, policies, and standards preferably gained in the PHSA, PHC or VCH environment.
  • Understanding of organizational dynamics to manage variety of different stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clinical and business stakeholders and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to translate and express clinical, process and technical problems, outcomes and benefits using layperson terms.
  • Direct experience designing and implementing and support testing in a large, complex multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Certification from a training association is an asset.
